Question about InFocus LP725 and LP735 Replacement Projector Lamp - SP-LAMP-LP7E Projector Lamp
Hi. I have an InFocus LP725 projector that works fine for 10 minutes into a presentation but then the light goes out. Let it cool down for awhile and it will light again. Is there some type of thermal switch built into these that causes it to shut down when it gets too hot. We bought a replacement lamp for it from a source other than InFocus and now I'm wondering if it might be a higher wattage than the original. By the way, I did check the fan filter and it was clean, the fan works fine and is unobstructed. Any suggestion would be appreciated! Thanks Steve
The Projector will turn off after so many hours of running the same bulb module. The counter will turn on a replace bulb LED. Installing the new bulb module should reset the counter and turn off the LED.
Check the projector’s lamp to ensure that it is securely connected
in the lamp module. Make sure by removing it and reinserting it.
Check the cables for problems.
When testing, power up in this order. Projector, Computer monitor, Computer.
A minor power surge may cause the lamp to shut off. Turn the
projector off, wait at least 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
I hope these suggestions help
