Question about Audio Players & Recorders
The problem i have is when the speakers are hooked up there is either no sound or very little sound. i went online to see if i could find a manual to help see if i have things hooked up wrong, but i can't find the system on the kenwood web sight. either this system is old or it is under a different name. the system says it is a KA-996. if there is a different name or you think you might know what the problem is please let me know. also to hook a subwoofer up that has a right and left input output on the back and there is only one spot on the back of the amplifier how do i hook the sub up. do i have to use speaker wires or just one output.
This website sells the owners manual for $9.99 and the service manual for $14.99 your stereo:
Here is the website:
Hope this helps.
Could be too many different reasons for no/low output. My 1st guess would be the output transistors, but that again is guessing without knowing more info about the receiver.
Hopefully, its is something simple like the way it's hooked up, or if you have the wrong channel selected.
