Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Easyshare c713 screen will not light. camera will come on.

If your camera is in display mode, and the screen stays dark, check the memory settings. (internal / memory card)
Put the main dial to automatic and shoot a picture, to see is anything comes on the screen.

Hey. I was just wondering if you know how to get the pictures off my Kodak digital camera without the installer disc? As I can not find the disc. I really need the pictures today aswell. Please could...

If you have the pictures in a SD/MMC memory, just turn off camera and remove it , then you put the memory in a compatible reader connected to your PC; but if you have pictures at the internal memory of camera, you'll have to use Kodak EasyShare software to transfer pictures from your camera with USB cable, it can be downloaded from the following link:

Time for a new Camera. It is about 150.00 to replace the LCD. it is cheaper to replace it unless you can just use the viewfinder alone!!

Display won't display anything, it merely turns on backlight.

This means the display has failed and a replecement at reasonable cost is unlikely. Check Kodak our for a repair But you wont like the answer I fear

Kodak easy share cx6200 problem

Amanda, I have a Vivitar Vivicam and I too had the same problem with my camera and PC. What you need to do is go into your controll pannel and "find" your camera. If it does not show, do an Add and remove hardware. You may have to reinstail the camera. I had to a couple of times with mine. It is a pain, I know, but that is part of having to keep up with todays technology. I hope this helps you.
