Question about Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate Edition
I have a Visioneer 9520 Scanner and I had no problem installing the software, but when I hook up the scanner to the PC, Vista recognizes new hardware, but says it cannot locate the scanner driver file. Even I point it to the folder it is located in, it says it cannot locate the file. Visioneer has walked me through all different kinds of scenarios, like making sure I have my antivirus software disabled, Internet Explorer disabled, etc. and Vista just cannot locate the driver. If anyone can help I would really appreciate it.
Windows vista has compatibility problems with many device softwares and drivers, u have to get the software that's windows vista compatible, or u can log onto the visioneer site http://www.visioneer.com/ and download your device's software that's compatible with windows vista
