Question about Coby MP-C883 MP3 Player

I hooked my coby mp3 player to my pc and it showed a jazz song on it so i deleted it before i tryied to put my list that i wanted on it and since i deleted the jazz song first its not being read my pc wont pick it up nore on my freinds pc

The manufacturers website has an informational manual to assist you through the steps to do this. It is not an easy task when you are learning this for the first time--believe me! As a techy it also took me a while and the manual had wealth of information based upon my model.

Deleting music off the mp3

Try this method to remove your files/pictures

Deleting Files,Pictures,Videos,Audio Books, Apps,etc. from MP3 Player/Ipod

BIG WARNING: DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on "Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want, release,right click and then click on "Delete"
Now you mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
ONE MORE BIG WARNING: BE CAREFUL AND DO NOT DELETE THE FILES NEEDED TO OPERATE YOUR MP3 PLAYER.

I cannot remove file from coby mp3 768. the computer shows that the files were removed but they are still on the device. Any advice? Thank you

I have connected the device to my PC, but it wont appear on my Monitor. i want to add music


You will need Window Media player installed for it to show up on your PC.
If you want to view/delet what is on the device, then follow the directions below...BE SURE NOT TO DELETE YOUR FIRWARE, ONLY THE SONGS,FILES,ETC.

I am not able to permanently delete songs from my Coby MP822-4G MP3 player. It will erase them but when I go back in they are still there. I want to delete some songs but cannot.
