Hd channels black bars

I just got HD channels on my new wide screen....but there are black bars on top and bottom of the HD channels making the picture smaller .....What do I do to fix?

I am sorry but no one can help with that, it is because the original itself is in that ratio. But if u have a zoom option in ur remote then u can remove that black bars.
