We've had this tv for years and it's been fine. Suddenly a few days ago, random channels are autolocked. None of us actually set the lock so no one knows what the access code is. Is there a way to reset it?

If you look on the rear of the set and locate the chassis number can probably assist you. But I will need the chassis number for RCA & Phillips/magnavox.

Format not selectable in AV-4

The AV-4 port on this TV is more problematic than anything I've seen. Set the resolution of the computer to 1024 x 768, 60 Hz refresh rate. If still nothing, set to 800 x 600, 60 hz refresh rate. Make sure the driver for the cable you have running from computer to TV is up to date. There's not much you can do on the TV end - all the changes have to be made from the PC.
