I PUT A OLD DVD IN THE IT STARTED SKIPPINN, WHEN I TRIED TO EJECT IT IT WOULDNT EJECT IT KEEPS SAYING MECHANICAL ERROR EVEN WHEN I RESTART IT , I CAN HEAR IT TRYING TO EJECT BUT NOTHING COMES OUT. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!

It sounds that the problem to your TV is with its DVD loading tray. A pure mechanical fault indeed. Not loads the disc properly to its seating. A motor fault, or a gear wheel fault, or a leaf switch fault could be. Anyway, you have to take the DVD mechanism out from the TV, to get the actual problem could be resolved. Really this is a semi skilled work. It will be best to contact any service technician in this case.
Make sure you are using the correct disc, which it shows in the instruction book that came with the unit. Then I hold the button down while it is open and insert the disc. Works for me, and I have four of which I use daily.
