Where is the filter located on this washing machine?

The pump filter might be clogged then for your washing machine or the pump filter is bad and will have to be replaced.the filter for your washing machine is located by the right side corner on a washing machine and coins or other debris or items maybe stuck inside of the filter.

Hi just read your posting.Is this machine the 5100 Whirlpool front loader.If it is the the only filter on this machine is the drain pump filter.It is located at the bottom of the machine either behind the kick plate or behind a small door.When you locate the pump filter unscrew it anti clockwise and then clean it and replace. Put some towels down for the water that will come out from the machine.Please reply on how you got on.Looking forward to your reply.

the filter is underneath on the pipe going to the pump, you wiull need to remove a hose clip.

Hi, yes it is. Hotpoint bwm12 is a built-in washing machine, the filter is located at the bottom (black round knob). Undo the filter by turning it to the left (please be sure there's no water inside the machine, or getas much as possible out before opening the filter).

take off rear bottom panel.
you will see a large diameter pipe going from bottom of machine to pump. take off this pipe at the machine end - careful, lots of water may come out.
filter is located inside this pipe. remove and clean
