The HU you removed may have had a circuit to prevent turn-on/turn-off pop. The nav system may not have it.

How can i bypass the stock amp in a 2000 pontiac grand prix with the bose speaker system in it with out taking the bose speaker's out?

you can't. the bose system is just that, a system. you need all the pieces for it to work. the head unit doesn't have any power and you need the amp to drive the speakers. also, bose is a proprietary system. only bose parts will work for it. so you can't buy any amp off the shelf and swap it out. if the amp is bad you need to buy a replacement bose amp or replace everything with a new head unit and speakers.

these should bolt up providing they fit.they will only enhance sound meaning you wont have to turn the volume up so much to get the same driven power

Factory bose speakers wont run on a normal stereo

Im sorry to tell you, but they are telling you the true. Unless you have the factory Radio that comes with those speaker they are useless to you unless your car is the same make as the one that those speaker came out of. Each speaker have four wires coming form them? If they have only two wires on them you can use them in series with other in your home theather system.

93 cadillac speakers have 2 wires upgrading to delco/bose from a 89 cad fleetwood with 4 wires to each speaker.amps are in each speaker.are 2 wires for power if so from where

the bose system had power(two wires) and low level signal(other two wires)going to each speaker. The power came from the pre-amp mounted in the trunk.

Cd player malfunctioning after cd lens cleansing

Ive replaced sooo many Bose systems for that very same reason. Id replace radio. Problem with Bose radios sometimes have no amp inside radio and if you replace the radio, you have to replace the entire system, very expensive, depends on year of vehicle too.

You can purchase a bass cd with test tracks....just be careful, these tracks can damage speakers not rated to handle the stress of extreme bass.

'05 Chevy Z-71 w/ BOSE stereo upgrade. How can I wire the BA-200 ?

Unfortunately, it's not as simple as a crossover. Bose gets its name from making complete systems - meaning - Bose speakers work right because the amplifier is custom built for those speakers, and the deck is custom built for the amplifier- all Bose from beginning to end. The only way to bypass any part of a Bose system is to bypass the whole system, including amp, deck, subs, speakers, eq's, and start over from scratch, unless you are an electrical engineer and can meter components and evaluate them. Bose often has 1 or 1/2 ohm speakers which will not work with after market systems.  If you go to a Bose store, the only system that sounds good is the lifestyle system because it is Bose from beginning to end, just as an example. They are either cheaters or geniuses
