My phone was dropped and now it wont recieve service

If you don't have an antenna sticking out of the phone then you probably have an internal one. When you dropped it, you could've damaged the internal antenna or if you do have an external antenna it could be damaged on the inside.

How can i fix the very bad signal of my nokia 5310. i have tried putting in different sim cards, and it still does not pick up signal. other phones get fine signal in places where my phone doest have any...

The older cell phones used to have external antennas, which got much better reception in some cases than the new internal antennas, depending on the brand of phone. There are small sticky internal antennas that you can buy like at wal mart that i have tried and they do improve your signal by a bar some cases more, it is worth a try.

V3xx drop call

Test your sim card in the Nokia phone and if the cals still drop then you will need to replace your sim card. If you dont drop calls in the Nokia phone then you will need to have the device replaced. AT&T Customer service number is 800-331-0500 for replacement options.

Nokia 6310i - Low and No signal

It's possible that you could fix it, but not entirely likely. It depends on whether it's just a bent antenna connector or if a circuit board is broken.

Some phones have a small spring-type piece that makes contact with the antenna. If this is merely bent, and not making a great connection, you might be able to coax it back into shape and that might fix your phone. Otherwise, it's probably beyond the ability of an amateur to repair.

My tom tom signal keeps dropping out for hours

ok my aussie compatriot your problem is mainly the battery not being fully charged on the ac charger, it also needs a clear view of the sky. most tomtoms have an external antenna port mmcx but dont buy thoise cheap 28db units as they are trouble, go to Marbella Australia and get one of their 50Db external mouse antennas and that will help
tremendously. Perhaps dump your tomtom while your at it as they are nothing but trouble. just check the numer of issue son this forum.
check out the A8010 or the super A860 on the marbella site then sell off your tomtom

Do you know anything abot raor phones

I generally fix electronics, even if I am not an expert on this particular model I can tell something about this.

"no signal" The first phone has no signal, if the sim card inside is the right one from same network that the phone is locked to, then it must be a problem with the antenna.
Try different sim cards on this phone, if nothing works, then it is the internal antenna that is defective.

the second phone turning off instead, can be a problem with battery or charger, try replacing battery and ac charger with the one from first phone, see if that works.

Regards.

Motorola V3xx Just quit

Check with whomever sold it to you or check with your service provider. If under 1 year, they may replace the phone. The little button is actually a little cap that covers the external antenna port.

Good luck!

No service

i was recently told that if you use an external antenna on the razr, you can 'burn out' the internal antenna resulting in no service or intermittant service, even when in an area that normally provides strong signal, thus it may be that your internal antenna is the problem.
