Take the door seal off and leave in the sun to soften then put it back on or take off door and use a hair dryer to soften then put back on.

Seal needs to be replaced around door. Make sure magnetic strip is tight against sides of refrigerator, even if you have to cut the outside so it lays flat against the sides.

Freezer door has mosture on the outside

You need to order and replace the door gasket. Also check and be sure there the hight adjustment is correct, meaning the door is centered on the opening and not off set to where it can seal.hope this helps

Frigidaire upright freezer door will not seal

Hi Chris, this is AP! Thank you for your post.

I understand you are having trouble with the door sealing on your upright freezer. Many times this can be caused by the freezer not being leveled. If the freezer is not leveled during installation, the door may be misaligned and not close or seal properly, causing cooling, frost, or moisture problems. To level your upright freezer use a carpenter's level to level the freezer from front-to-back. Adjust the plastic leveling feet in front, 1/2 bubble higher, so that the door closes easily when left halfway open. I hope this information has been helpful.

Door seal not tight on upright freezer

Check the door sits straight and square on the front. You can "adjust" with the heel of your hand to make it sit flat against the frame. Even a poor seal shouldn't make frozen food thaw - check and clean the condenser and fan

I have a Frigedaire Upright freezer, Model says

to verify what i think could be the problem i would need the complete model number so i can recheck what i am about to tell you
the freezer has a heater where the door gasket seals itself on (not on the door behind gasket but on the freezer itself) see if you can feel if it is warm where the gasket rest on the freezer this help it get that solid air tight seal. and prevent ice build up on gasket

well this maybe one possible without being there its alittle hard to tell what else hope this was alittle helpful

Freezer door does not close tightly.

You can try replacing the seals and or adjusting the hinges.
That may work.

Be aware that if the unit is over 10 years old it is probably using twice as much power as a new one would and costing you an extra $75 to $100 annually to run over a new unit. Could be more than that if the door seals are not tight as well.

Not Freezing

Check the door seal all the way around. We purchased one recently that was slightly dented (not noticeably and the seal was not tight.) You need to get in touch with whomever you purchased it from immediately so that it can be repaired or replaced.
