IBM Wheelwriter 15 Series II -- the paragraph symbol appears when we type the @

Does anyone know how to reset our keyboard or fix the following problem? For whatever reason, the paragraph symbol is what appears when you hold down the shift key and press 2 to try and type the @ sign. Any thoughts on how to fix it? Thanks.

1. Turn the typewriter off, wait 30 seconds turn it back on
2. Try typing again.
3. make sure the language light is off.
4. Try a new printwheel.
5. look for objects in the path of the printwheel

The trip mechanism is probably gummed up. If yoy know how to take it out of the case some WD40 on the latch on the bottom should fix it..

You probably have a broken plastic print solenoid cap. We sell them for 20.00 includes shipping and instructions.
