Question about Lexmark X75 All-In-One InkJet Printer

PRINTING MY LEXMARK x75 WILL PRINT IN COLOR BUT WILL NOT PRINT IN BLACK. i HAVE INSTALLED A NEW CARTRIDGE. WHAT IS THE PROBLEM?

Hi,

have u refilled ur cartridge or is it a new one?
If u have refilled it then the air bubbles have entered this is caused due to improper filling of the cartridge..

And if it is a new one then:
You have not set ur option in the lexmark software to print in back and white..

    it appears that the internal print head ports were clogged with ink.
    Try removing the print head and washing it in alcohol- when I did this
    i had clumps of congealed ink coming out of the tiny ports. The print
    head has two small screws underneath that I also removed and cleaned
    the ports inside by use of a syringe and alcohol. After I put the print
    head back together, dried it and ran an auto alignment - it all seems
    good now.

Printer has stopped printing blue


Make sure that you are inserting only genuine Lexmark cartridges in your printer. Removing then re-inserting the color cartridge into the printer is a quick to minor cartridge communication issues.
Make sure that your color cartridge still has substantial ink level for printing using the Lexmark Solution Center software on your computer.
Click Start > Programs > Lexmark X74-X75 > Lexmark X74-X75 Solution Center. Check the ink levels.
If color ink level is still good, then it probably just needs some cleaning. Print quality issues can be due to dirty or clogged print cartridge nozzles. From the Maintenance tab in the Lexmark X74-X75 Solution Center, click Clean print nozzles to fix horizontal streaks. Your printer will then print a test page. Try to print a color page again to verify that the problem with the blue color is fixed.
If the problem continues, try to insert a different known working color cartridge to identify if it's a faulty cartridge issue.

Black ink not printing even tho a new black ink cartridge was installed recently and working properly until I opened the unit to install a new color cartridge and now the black ink is not printing and the...


Try to reseat your cartridges. Unplug and replug your printer into the power source to reset itself. If that doesn't help, try to clean your cartridges and check if print quality improves. If you're using Windows, go to Start -> Programs -> Lexmark X74-X75 -> Lexmark X74-X75 Solution Center -> Maintenance -> Clean print nozzles to fix horizontal streaks.

I have a X3350 Lexmark printer. I do not require color printing at any time. How can I print black only using one black cartridge only. The color cartridge is never used.


let the colour cartridge be inside the printer.if its empty then also black will print.but its necessay that the colour cartridge should be in the printer as without the colour cartridsge in the printer the circuit does not gets completed.but the cartridge should be inside the printer if its empty no problem you can just print in black it will print.

New Color Print cartridge and isn't printing color


No, I didn't get my problem resolved. I tried what I was told to do. It is weird that sometimes it recognized the cartridge and then other times, it doesn't. Can one cartridge go bad and the other print? I have a 888# that I am going to call tomorrow evening so maybe I can actually talk to someone. Thanks for all of your assistance.

Prints only color ink nothing in black


Normal 0 Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.

Please check color cartridge is ok or not
if it is ok then check your printer configuration in Your pc it should be a gray scale printing ....

Lexmark X75 Printer not printing


Dear as400 How did you cleaned the contacts? By using of what materials. The contact points are very sensitive and you should not rubbed with bare hand. However, once again, i want to request you to buy another original cartridge and install carefully in your printer. If this doesn't solve your problem, please contact the manufacturer.

Lexmark X75 no color


even though you have ink coming out of the cartridge, if it's more than a few months since it's pumped any ink, it can be clogged internally, blotting with paper doesnt always work. Try a new cartridge, or buy a new printer, it's usually cheaper now to get a whole new printer than it is to replace a set of cartridges. consider it's a few years old now
