There's not much hope. I would try putting it on top of your drier or by your stove for a couple days. just some place warm where the water can evaporate, however, TI screens don't recover well at all. there's not much hope. Sorry for the bad news good luck though

When i opened my locker today my TI-83 fell out and the screen cracked. Is there a possible way to get a new screen?

I know this sounds cruel because it is a fine instrument but although the answer is probably a 'maybe' the cost to replace the screen using electronic micro surgery would be as high as the price of anew one. These things are manufactured by robots in a specific sequence and are made like an old Swiss watch. Taking it apart and reassembling such a device manually is a daunting task and would not warrant the cost. ---- Sorry

My ti-83 plus calculator fell in the water and now the buttons have stopped working.

Hopefully you have taken the batteries, and the lithium (backup) battery out to prevent a short circuit.
You can try using a vacuum cleaner attachment to **** the water away from the keypad area, just be careful not to scratch the screen.
Then I would recommend putting the calculator into a bowl of uncooked rice overnight, this will remove most of the remaining water. OR If you have any gel pack desiccant (like the packs that come in new shoes, hard drives, computer equipment) you can place them in a ziplock bag with the calculator, seal it up overnight, and hope for the best !

Black screen fell into water and not working

you can take the battery and the back off the device and place in completely submerged in a bag of white rice and leave it in there for 1 to 2 days this will help absorb the moisture, this should fix it if the water did not damage the circut boards if the water damaged the circut boards then the device is fried

TI-83 calc. fell in creek and rusted where the batteries go.

I can't think of a way to save it. It would be more cost/time effective to just buy a new one. (Why did you have it with you at a creek? That's kind of funny.) Sorry.

e0df163.jpg does it look something like the example I gave? Anyways, I don't think that it can be fixed. and you can either:
A.) have the screen fixed (approx. $100)
B.) buy a new calculator (approx. $85)
( the monetary figures are approxamate and should not be taken literally, the $85 is at least what I last saw one for @ a Wal-Mart)
