-   we turn it on and the green on and off light just blinks on and off but the tv does not come on we hear the fan but no picture, we had moved it to another location when this started. the lamp looks good and is not too old. what do you think could cause this? how do I tell if the lamp has gone bad or could it be another problem.-   teagues

5 blinks = IC4011 however doesn't always mean ic is bad.
