How do I download more media? It says to click on the "Get media from the web" icon, but there are only 8 tracks to choose from

What Windows OS are you using? From Windows 7 and older versions of Windows, there will be a "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom right corner next to the time. Click on this and choose the IPod. Alternatively, double-click on the Computer (My Computer) icon and choose the IPod under Devices with Removable Storage. Right click on the IPod's icon and choose Eject or left click on the icon and click Eject in the Menu bar of the window.

In Windows 8, you will find these same icons on the desktop screen. There may be a similar option on the Start Screen; however, I'm not positive where that would be.

If you fail to use the Eject feature and remove the device's USB connection to the computer, you risk corrupting the data on the IPod's drive. The computer could still be writing data to the device.

One of the apps is called camera click on the app and when the interface comes up with the upper right hand icon you can choose either the forward or rearfacing camera and to take a picture press the bottom middle icon to take the photo. you'll get more details if you download the manual from support.apple.com/manuals/#ipodtouch and look at chapter 8.      • Click to select the day and time for scheduled updates to download and install. You can schedule Automatic Updates for any time of day. However, your computer must be on at the scheduled time for updates to be installed.
     • You can choose to install the updates as soon as they are finished downloading. To do this, click the download message (or update icon), and then click Install. If you choose not to install the updates when they finish downloading, Windows starts the installation on your set schedule.

On your PC you have "Audible download manager" Icon (right bottom corner near time and date setting on the botton taskbar). Click on this Icon.
Then you have 8 Choose.Ypou must click on third (3) "Activate audiblea ready device..". (Mp3 player must be connected on PC). Then set only your audible user name and password an must go.

1 Connect the Rio Carbon to a computer using the supplied USB cable.
2 Double-click My Computer on the Windows Desktop or in the Start Menu.
3 Locate MP3 or WMA audio files on the computer.
4 Highlight files and/or folders to transfer to the Rio Carbon.
5 Click Edit.
6 Click Copy.
7 Double-click My Computer on the Windows Desktop or in the Start Menu to open another window.
8 In the new window, locate the Rio Carbon (X:) icon that is associated with the Rio Carbon. (X equals the drive
letter assigned to the Rio Carbon.)
9 Double-click Rio Carbon (X:).

If you run windows XP don't have Windows Media Player 11 installed, download and install it here,

Open Rhapsody
From 'My Account' menu select de-authorize computer
Close Rhapsody

To delete the mcs.rma file:

1. Close RealPlayer/Rhapsody
2. Click the Windows Start button. Then click Run.
3. Type %windir%\system32\ and click OK.
4. Find the mcs.rma file.
5. Right-click mcs.rma and select Delete.
6. Close the window.

To delete the basi3260.dll file:

1. Open the My Computer icon on your desktop.
2. Open the C: drive (usually Local Disk (C:\)).
3. Open the Program Files folder.
4. Open the Common Files folder.
5. Open the Real folder.
6. Open the Plugins folder.
7. Find the basi3260.dll file.
8. Right-click basi3260.dll and select Delete.
9. Close the window.
10. Restart your computer.


on sansa Clip itself, disconnected from computer, go to settings, then choose format

Make sure Rhapsody, Windows Media Player, and all other media programs are closed

download firmware

reformat from windows explorer (right click, format, (FAT file system, NOT FAT32))

disconect
put in mtp (under USB mode on settings menu)

Open Rhapsody
It will run through quick setup again, due to files deleted before.
'Reathorize Computer' (under 'My Account' menu)
"Update Track Licenses' (same menu)

connect to computer
wait for Rhapsody to fully load clip (may take 30 seconds)
reformat from rhapsody (right click on sansa clip icon in rhapsody, select reformat)
hold down control and shift buttons at same time, right click on sansa clip icon in Rhapsody, select 'reset secure clock'
right click on sansa clip icon in rhapsody, select authorize device
wait while sansa clip updates (wait for screen of device to say 'connected' for a while, rather than writing or reading)

disconect

reconnect
wait a while updates finish

disconect
verify acount, and dates on device, under setting menu, account
should say renewed (with today's date) expires a date 30 days later.


download one new track from rhapsody you never have downloaded before

reconect
transfer that one track to clip
wait for all updates to finish

disconect
verify account, dates on device, check that the track plays properly"

Ignore the disc that comes with the player.
If using windows media player I simply ripped the tracks off the cd into mp3 to get them into the windows media library then synched the tracks to the player.
When you connect the USB cord between the computer and the player, windows media player will recognise it and show it in the left side bar.
Click on the mp3 player icon and then synch the tracks into the plyer list to import to the player (right side bar) I simply synch them all then remove the ones I dont want or drag and drop the mp3s from my media library into the player list to be synched.
Ignore totally the disc that comes with the player it is not required I think its only for 98 users to make it work it is not required with XP or Vista simply upload tracks to the player using a media player such as windows or real player.
So rip mp3s from the cd you want ....
When in mp3 mode (ignore if already mp3 on your pc) click the player icon when connected to the pc with the USB cable then select synch.

Where did you download the songs? Napster?Rhapsody? Any online music stores? Try synchronizing them using their software. If you have ripped songs from a cd you may want to rip them again and before ripping them check this option on your windows media player software. Tools > Options then under RIP MUSIC remove the check mark that say's Copy Protect Music or choose the file format as MP3. Then format the device using the windows media player software(for version 10 = click on the sync tab then choose the pencil like icon on the far right, for version 11 = right click on the sync tab choose the player and choose format) use after doing that rerip the songs using the windows media player software.

Once it is done, click Finish. 6) Disconnect the player and look at the screen. Several things will be displayed, and when you see Key Lock, System Shutdown, move the Hold switch on the top back to the left. 7) Turn the player on and watch the screen. If you see a Refresh Database Fail error, you will need to follow steps 1-7 again until you do not get the error. If it does not work the first time, it could take up to 3 times for it to work.
