Question about CTX S761 17" LCD Monitor

Base plate will not unfold. Is there a release or should I just force it?
Comment by dndwaters, posted on Feb 01, 2008 No, it's not a fixed joint. It's a pivot joint. The base plate is pivoted all the way over so it will fit into the box it comes in. But it doesn't seem to want to move. I'm afraid I will break it if I apply too much pressure.
Inside the round bit there is a bolt its very tight but you will have to dissasemble to get to it apart from the obvios ones there are 4 hidden behind rubber covers on the sides and then th fron frame unclips this i difficult to start off but by the power button on the side there is a square lump of plastic sticking out place a flat head skrewdriver between this and the front lip and gently twist and the first clip wil come undone and from there you can get the rest good luck
