I have a similar webcam. The black lens on the front can be twisted to move it in or out to adjust the focus. It might be little stiff at first. try holding a tissue and turning the front lens with your fingers.
check if your USB cable is properly plugged. Also try connecting your webcam directly to your PC instead of through a USB hub
if your webcam's image is not sharp, check to see if it has a focus ring. A blurry image can sometimes simply mean the webcam is not in focus. Adjusting the focus through the ring can solve that problem.
Other picture quality problems with webcams can be addressed by changing the video capture properties for the webcam. Most programs that can use a webcam will have an option to access the properties of the video source, which will bring up the video capture properties window.
Software Uninstall your existing software. Download new software from http://www.goaiptek.com/drivers/driverfiles/minixp_1.5.zip Unzip. Install the new software but DO NOT CONNECT THE CAMERA UNTIL INSTALLATION IS COMPLETE.
Camera Remove any batteries. Set switch to 'On' Set Mode to Video When software installation is complete, plug in camera to PC with USB cable supplied. Run installed program on PC. The Mega camera screen will appear. Click on 'Live'. Your camera picture should appear on the screen.
Check the connection to the pc. Is it loose? Make sure the cable is pushed in all the way. If it is,
Turn the camera off and disconnect it from the pc. Restart the pc.
After the pc reboots, reconnect the cable and turn the camera on.
Did you install the SOFTWARE that came with the Camera BEFORE you plugged in the camera? If not, you will need to disconnect the camera, reboot the PC, install the software and then connect the camera. If the camera is connnected before the software install you won't have the proper drivers for it to work.
Hi sandysms, go to start ->settings -> controlpanel -> system -> hardware -> devicemanager . see if there is yellow
