Re: CODE F4 and washer not working
Not too sure on that code, could be timer error. One thing to try would be to turn off the AC power to the unit and let it stay off for 15-30 minutes and then turn it back on. Sometimes if the unit takes a voltage spike it hashes the memory and resetting the power will clear it up, but to do this the voltage needs to turned off at the fuse/breaker box and not just the switch on the front. If you have the manual it may give ideas. I could not find the model no. you listed. Check to see if it is correct if resetting the unit doesn't help.

F4 points at at a drain problem, often the problem is caused by a dirty or defective pressure switch. Before replacing the pressure switch it is necessary to test the drain system.
First try turning power off from circuit breaker for few minutes and see if that is enough to clear the error code.
Turn power off from circuit breaker (or disconnect power cord) and clean the drain well inside the tub. Remove any water present in the tum. Check also the drain hose at the back of the appliance and make sure it is not kinked or blocked.
If that does not work remove the kick panel at the base of the dishwasher, locate the pressure switch and clean the hose connected to the pressure switch. The pressure switch is the device that detects water level, determining when to start and stop the drain pump. The pressure switch is a small plastic switch connected to a long rubber hose. If the hose gets blocked with detergent or if the switch is defective you get f4.
Try resetting the appliance to clear the error code. If that does not work clean and check the drain system. If still no luck check the pressure switch.
The F4 error code on your washer indicates a problem in the electrical circuits of the washer... and not end-user repairable. This problem requires a technician to test the wiring circuits to diagnose the problem.
