I have a tj65-au-031uk Laptop which wont turn on. It has a fully charged battery and it recognizes the charger fine, but unable to turn on at all. Not even the bios loads, could this be a problem with the physical power button. Does anyone know where the service manual is in ftp://ftp.packardbell.com/pub/itemnr/ Thanks

Tried that, tried removing all power supplies an batteries for 30mins an nothing. Im thinking a mainboard problem, does not help gpu is a intel gma 4500m. Nothing seems to work at all. Tried booting laptop with no ram in, and still nothing. Any ideas?

Tried that too, and nothing happens. It recognizes that the power supply and battery work fine (I.e battery charges fine through laptop) but doesnt attempt to boot anything.

did you try switching it on with AC adaptor connected but no battery?

Sounds like a h/w problem. I don't know where a manual can be found for disassembly - just try all screws. Many models have catches along one long side of the keyboard. Use a pointed object to move these to lift up the keyboard and remove it. Some laptops have hinge covers which you just prise up (with the lid closed) to remove.
    Good luck!

My Toro LX425 riding mower will not start has been fine all season; battery indicator light on but wont turn over; starter?

First make sure your battery is fully charged. The charger on lawn tractors will not keep the battery fully charged as they just produce a light charge. Check battery before the starter but if battery is fully charged then it's possible the starter could be bad.

Won't Charge

If it's not a recognized charger it'll stop charging the battery and try to run on the charger alone. If the peak draw of the laptop is higher than the charger output, it'll go right back off.
Try removing the battery and see if it'll boot on the charger alone.

Laptop wont recognize charger

Maybe you did damage a component due to overheating? What caused the Laptop to overheat? Does the battery work on another laptop?

Its plug in but battery wont charge

If your battery will not charge, you need to run a test on some components on the laptop. The battery, the charger and the laptop itself. Once you detect the faulty conponent then you replace it with a new one.

To test the battery:
1.Power off the laptop,
2.Take out the battery,
3.Insert it in another laptop,
4.Check of it will charge,

If the battery holds a charge there, then it means the problem is not from the battery, but if it does not hold a charge, then it means the battery is defective and need to be replaced with a new one.

To test the charger:
1.Unplug the charger from the present laptop,
2.Connect it to another laptop to see if it will charge.

If it charges the laptop, then it means the charger is alright, and if it does not charge the laptop, then it means the charger is bad and need to be replaced.

To test the laptop:
1.Turn off the laptop,
2.Disconnect your present charger,
3.Remove your present battery pack,
4.Insert a well tested battery into the laptop,
5.Connect a well tested charger to the laptop.

If it powers on, then it and charges, then it means the laptop is working fine, but if it does not charge, then it means the connection port of the laptop is bad.Hope this information was helpful.

Packard bell easy note tj65 will not power up

the short cable running from the power button to the main board has probably snapped where it passes over the RH hinge. remove the screen surround to gain access to the power on switch area and check. it would seem to be a common fault with the packard bell

Laptop suddenly stops recharging / recognizing the charger

Here is a manual....mostly replacement parts etc.

Sounds like your battery is shot, bad or discharged or shorted batteries will shut the charging circuit off.

Battery Not Identified.

hello

I suggest you a few steps to solve your problem.
  • remove the charger and press the power button till all residue power is radiated.
  • then connect the charger and charge the battery fully and try booting the system.
  • if this don't work check the output of your charger and see if it is working fine.
  • if it is working fine then remove the battery and connect the charger and try starting the system.
  • if it works then there are two things possible.
  1. battery gone.
  2. IC responsible for charging is gone.
i hope you can figure out the problem through this.

Thank you

Laptop battery not charging

Replace the battery, if laptop works fine from charger without battery installed that proves battery is at fault.

Jazz hd v188 wont charge

Called support and they told me, the motorola charger is good only if you don't let the battery fully discharge . Once fully discharged it will not recognize the charger, don't let the battery icon flash or turn red, and you should have no problem.
