You must have CD installation to reinstall the OS. Turn on your laptop, connect external CD/DVD ROM to USB. Insert the OS CD then follow the steps on your screen to complete the process.
You will prompted to repair the OS during process , follow the instructions to repair OS.
may be possible that it is the cd not the pc who is the culprit.you should try another cd to verify this. may be possible that your windows has become corrupt try to repair or re-install your windows.
Try unpluging the printer and removing any previous printer software. Any anti-virus software off or disabled. After you uninstall old printer software , reboot the computer then install the new drivers. Then turn back on your anti-virus software.With the computer off, plug in your printer and then turn on the computer. The computer should find the new driver and install it.
