Question about Creative Labs Live! Cam Voice Webcam
I am a little frustrated. I installed my Creative Live Cam Voice and it was working fine, detected by both my Windows XP and the Creative Web Cam Center software, but following installation of a Voice Driver (1.02.08.0710) the camera is not detected by the computer. The light on the camera is on, but the Creative Software reports that "no supported Creative Camera detected" I have reinstalled the software and it still doesn't work. I tried to uninstall the voice driver, but I cannot seem to do so with Windows Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel.
I installed the software on another computer and it all works fine on that, but that's my office computer and I can't get it to work on the only computer in my house.
What is my next step? Can it be the Voice Driver upgrade? Why was it once working on my computer and now fails to do so?
This place (http://linuxhow.blogspot.com/2012/01/creative-webcam-driver-problem.html) has a solution that worked for me.
