Lamp part number

KP-43T70 is a CRT based rear projector and does not use a Lamp like newer LCD/DLP projectors. It uses 3 (Red, Green, Blue) glycol liquid cooled CRT's (like the picture tubes of yesteryear) to produce the image/light as opposed to a Lamp.

Projection lamp expired. how much is it to replace it?

you need the projector model number to find the proper projector lamp as not all projector lamps are made equal.

here are some sites you can find more information. just search based on your projector model.

Projector lamps range from price. Low $100s to $300s based on the projector brand and model you have.

The lamp still does not light up after the new lamp installed? Or the lamp is working but the Red lamp still blinking? Reset the lamp timer after the lamp is installed?

Like any projector, enclosed in a cabinet or not, it has a lamp and/or filter hour counter. Did you reset these when you put in the new lamp? Also, did you replace/clean filter. VERY IMPORTANT.

Cant start TV using controller or manually. When I press button timer green light and lamp green light come on also in red standby/temp red light on

You need a new projector bulb. Google up your model and buy the best warranteed one you can find. Buy a "caged assembly" and not just a bare bulb.

Then unplug your tv and get a screwdriver. Follow your model's instructions and just snug down the electrical screws. Do not overtighten them.

Then consult your manual on how to reset the lamp timer so it knows you put a new bulb in and fires up from the first try.

Treat yourself because you've just saved yourself a trip from a repairman!!

TV doesn't have the colour red... just blue and green

This site has a manual that may specify the type of lamp. The manual costs something, with no guarantee you'll find what you want.
http://www.manualuniverse.com/manager/products/catalogue.asp
Select brand "Pioneer" and enter the model "SDP5795W" then click Find; on the next page click on the model number SDP5795W to go through to the page that lists the manuals. One is a service/repair manual that I expect would have information about the lamp or bulbs.

The TV is more than 10 years old, and with "planned obsolescence" it may be hard to even get lamps now. All the very best of luck.

Sounds like the lamp timer has reached it's limit. In your users manual you will find the proceedure on replacing the lamp and reseting the timer. Once this is done the projector should work.
