The screen is broken on my D807. I bought the USB data transfer cable so that I can pull my pictures and other items off the phone. I've already installed the Samsung PC Studio, but I can't get the program to connect to my phone. The phone "beeps" when I plug in the USB, so I know the cable is working. I've checked a few sites and it says the phone WON'T connect via USB if bluetooth is enabled.
Can anyone give me the keystrokes to make sure my bluetooth is OFF? For example... left menu button, up, right, select..... etc.?
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Yes you should be able to access the data using a data cable as your computer will see the phone as an external storage device with data on it that can be transferred to your hard drive. You can also remove the media card from your phone and use a media card reader to connect it to your computer as well. Here is a link to the Sony Ericcsson S500i software download site that you can use to manage the media on your phone and potentailly update your device (small chance to revive screen) http://www.sonyericsson.com/cws/support/softwaredownloads/s500i?cc=gb&lc=en
You could do this in several ways, but here are the most common:
1. If your computer has a bluetooth device, you could pair your phone with your computer and transfer the pictures
2. If your phone came with a USB cable, connect your USB cable to your phone and plug into a USB slot on your computer and transfer your pictures.
Your phone supports both USB and Bluetooth connection (As per Mannual). To transfer these picture you can always use any of the two.
To transfer these photos from phone to comuter, I would suggest to use a USB data cable to connect your phone to PC. If that is not possible then try Bluetooth ( If you have inbuilt bluetooth on your computer else you can use external bluetooth device also).
Evenn if you have any probelms transfering them, then send it your email id as MMS or send it to a phone through Bluetooth and then transfer it to your computer.
Hope this would help to do so. I can understand the importance of the photos. Take care.
It is quite a bummer, but you have to select one picture at a time, go to options, select move, choose memory card, select paste and then when you have moved all of your pictures over to your memory card you can get them on your computer via the data cable. I miss my sony!
what you could do is connect the phone to the pc via your usb cable and install the samsung software that it came with them you can transfer you pics or vidz.....then take the phone and have the lcd replaced
