Hello Joshua, thank you for your post!
From my understanding your Frigidaire laundry center is not starting and did not drain properly. It is possible that this could be a miscommunication within the laundry center and a reset may help clear that out for you. In order to reset your laundry center you would need to disconnect power from it for at least ten minutes. If that does not help your laundry center you may need to seek assistance from a professional technician for proper repairs. I hope this is helpful and if you should need further assistance please feel free to reconnect. -Matt
This is probably the drive belt slipping on the drum or motor. There is usually no adjustment on these and it is a case of replacing the belt. If you take the top off the machine, you may be able to look inside while it is running (KEEP CLEAR OF THE ELECTRICS AND DO NOT DELVE INSIDE WHILE THE MACHINE IS IN THIS STATE!) and see the belt slipping. If it is, it's probably time for a new belt
1-it may be the belt squealing or high pitched noises telling you it wants to go! 2- It more than likely is the rolling suspension that the drum spins on! I've seen the older models with one of 3 wheels that the drum rolls on is worn and wobbling or screaming or screeching etc. 3- I've seen also a few times that the motors heat shield, a simple piece if tin with two screws or bolts holding it down was "loose" and vibrating causing a loud metal squeal noise all the time or intermittently!! If I were there hands on I could fix it!
Only a trained laundry tech can make the electronic diagnoses.
Unfortunately, another point to consider!! How old is the appliance?
If the appliance is 10 years old or more you it may not be advisable to put good money into bad! New appliances are so much more efficient today that they can save you a lot of money in energy!!!! Water,Electric and detergent! And put money back in your pocket! The new appliance will pay for itself in only a few years!
You will be fine Bless You ngafm1 *****PLEASE GIVE ME A GOOD RATING BEFORE YOU
tinaheinleHello Welcome to fixya. I'm Huuum and happy to assist you,
You said, ..well this is a solution..... my roommate unplugged the machine while
it was drying. the start and spin lights were both flashing. I called
the company and they told me to reset it, but the weren't sure how, lol. I
unplugged it and waiting, nothing. I flipped the breaker, nothing. I
finally turned it to a setting, and turned on nob on the dry, and it
started clicking. I turned off the dry, and hit the start button, and it started right up...
If the next time you use it and it's fine then you did succeed in resetting the system and will be alright! Let me know that we were successful!
