Question about Garmin StreetPilot c340 GPS Receiver
While traveling, my Garmin has frozen. It is still on, but will not allow me to turn it on or off. I tried unpluging it, and it stays on the same screen. It has not changed at all. It does not respond to any touch on the screen. It is just over a year old. I have never up dated any maps or anything. Please help.
Have you tried resetting the unit? Remove the faceplate and press the reset button on the right side of the unit. This may help.

My Garmin 255W froze up in the ON mode. Nothing moved and I could not turn it off. With nothing else to do I let the battery run down. When the screen went blank I plugged it into the car and turned it on and it came alive as if nothing had ever happened except it skipped the previous 200 miles. There was a low battery warning but that was to be expected.

I have a Garmin 1300 and it does not boot. I get a splash screen and everything freezes up. I have tried to reset it. I have tried to restart it with holding the button down. Etc, etc. I have tried to start it with a USB cable hooked to the computer. All the usual tries. Nothing works. Garmin's site does not talk about this problem. I wonder why? Maybe I am the only one having this problem or maybe not? What should I do?'
