Hi you have done one of two things to your ds. 1) you have somehow unstuck the top plastic protection screen that covers the lcd screen and re-stuck it but have got fingerprints etc on it, hence the blur. 2) The more obvious thing is you dropped the de or gave it a bang and the ribbon feeding from the top screen to the lower screen through the left hand hinge is damaged or it has become slightly unclipped where it meets the motherboard.
Either way you will need to take the DS apart to solve. It can be tricky so if you are not confident bring it to a repair shop, it is an easy fix and wont cost the earth to fix.
If it is still under warranty send it back to Nintendo to fix.
Hey its alright. The same exact thing happend with my 6 year old brother! Your lcd screen is broken most likely so you have to order a new one of the internet. They go for about $26.00. You can also go on youtube and there it will show you how to replace the broken screen. If you have any questions e-mail me at Nateskate140@gmail.com!
As far I can see with this information is that you have a connector problem. Help you with that by writing solutions would nog easy solve your problem so my advice is to find a repair service in your city that can help you out or send it to Nintendo.
Its possible though sometimes it is expensive so dont worth the work.
-Top screen broken: you can buy a replacement and carefully do the work by yourself with the help of a guide (youtube have many) and some tools (3 winding screwdriver is the less common though not much). The foil data ribbon can be bought separatelly for the original NDS though the new NDS lite have it soldered and very difficult to work.
-Broken plastics: a broken hinge means you need to buy a replacement shell. Anyway buy a complete shell from a DS modding shop or take parts from a non broken plastics DS (water damaged one may be good) in a place like ebay. You would be lucky if you find a non broken screens and good plastics DS for parts.
At the end you may be over your repair budget and not only that, you would be very near to buy a new unit with this money. Each one make its own choice.
