Iam using samsung mlt-2240 printer after refill the toner it was no working red light blinking in the printer.

When the number of pages reach the limit specified in the chip it starts to give the message that tonor is exhausted no matter if it has tonor in it or refilled. Replace the chip or tonor and it would work fine.

If its the starter cartridge try following: -

run the software and this will reset the page count to 0. Samsung printers generally do not support a refilled cartridge and thus the red light.But resetting the page count to 0 makes the printer detect the cartridge as an introductory one.

The steady lower light indicates the unit needs a new toner cartridge, MLT-D108S. Did you previously see this light blinking or blinking rapidly? (Those indicate the toner being low.) Replace the cartridge and check for any other error lights. Turn off the machine and let it cool. Then open the front cover and pull the old toner cartridge. Open the package with the new cartridge, remove the packing tape and paper that protects the cartridge and gently shake it (avoid touching the blue or green parts of the OPC drum). Press the cartridge into the slot until it is fully seated. Close the front cover.

The green/red blinking power light is not one I'm seen before. The printer indicates a non-toner failure (open cover, no paper, LSU failure, etc.) with a steady red light.

Did you change the chip? These cartridge have a chip that tells the printer it has received it's new toner. You can get the chips cheap from a variety of sources online. Just search for samsung 2240 reset chip.

The red light stays on until paper is loaded, and also if there's a problem with the fuser not heating, or toner is empty.

You need a reset chip. get it from CartridgeCo tel 0845 388 3576

yes you change your printer cartridge . Your printer toner chip is disable. You buy a new toner

go to samsung website and see if they have smartpanel for this printer,download to pc and run,will solve your problem
