Question about Mitsubishi WS-55809 55" Rear Projection Television
When i turn the unit on the picture curves down at the top and curves up at the bottom. After a few minutes it goes away and occationally comes back when changing channels or on commercials, kind of randomly but not, if that makes any sense. You can see the red, green and blue colors a bit too. Had someone come out and quote $365, but that was a few months ago and don't have the quote and don't remember what it needed. I do remember him saying if I leave it and don't fix it now that it will cost more cause the projectors will need to be replaced then. Thanks in advance.
Paid $240 to fix issue. Tech soldered IC's 8C01, 8C02ON. Convergence board adjusted align. This happened within a short period owning TV. No more Mitsubishis. Customer Service at Mitsubishi is crap!

I would try soldering your convergence amp ICs. Mitsubishi has had some issues with sparse solder at the ICs Dress up the solder a bit and see if this helps. If not you will no doubt need to replace the ICs there are two of them and they cost about 10.00 each. Let me know if you need anything further.
