Question about Dell Inspiron 2200 Notebook
Help, i put a disc in draw of laptop but must not have put it in properly the disc has gone inside the laptop somewhere can you help please
Theres only three things to do
1 theres a small pinhole to manually open the draw just stick in a toothpick and the draw should open see if you can see the disk and shake it out(if it fell in so easy.
2 get a screw driver and start unscrewing the bottom panel(sometimes theres screws under the rubber pads on the bottom when you think their out just slowly wiggle if theres more youll feel it carefully of cousre after taking out battery hard drive and ram and if you need to unscrew any circuit boards lift them slightly just enough to get the disk to make sure no wires are pull out cos there will be wires that connect everything to each other, its easier than it sounds if you get cold fett stop and put it back together. also by doing this you void warranty but if thats expired then thats what id do rather than option 3 Pay a store to do the same thing, although i would expect it to cost $20-$45 and i wouldnt pay more than twenty but you might get rip offs
These are your choices
I hope you feel well advised
Let me know how you go
