Keep having an f 11 error code,even in middle of a cycle

If your Samsung washer is in the middle of a drain cycle and the 5E error code shows on your washers display, it means that the water is not properly draining out of the washer. Something may be clogged, jammed, or blocked and thus preventing water from draining out of the washer.

Model number usually helps but I don’t see anything under F11 error codes

An "F-11" error code on a Whirlpool Duet could cause your washer to become inoperable and stop in the middle of a load. The cause of the problem could be a number of things and may require new parts.
F11 can mean anything from motor to motor control board to ccu board to wiring harness connecting ccu to mcu to motor.

Identification

The "F-11" code could appear with the dash or without the dash on the LCD screen. Be aware that there is also an "F-H" code that could look similar to the "F-11" code. Listen for 11 beeps to go along with the error code's first appearance.

Effects

The error means that there is no communication between the "Motor Control Unit" and the "Central Control Unit." This means that any operation selected like "Pre-wash" or "Large Load" cannot be sent to the motor for the washer to operate.

Prevention/Solution

Open up the washer panel to check the wire connections between the two units. If any plugs are loose or unplugged, reconnect them. Check to make sure none of the wires are stripped, rusty or broken off. After you reconnect the wires, rerun the washer to see if the error appears again.

If it’s a FAV6800AW or FAV9800AW the Control Board is under warranty for five years from date of purchase. I’ll assume it is and attach a link to the service manual. You can call the Maytag customer service number and check on the warranty status of your machine. They will ask for the serial number of the machine that is located on the right back side of the console for the FAV6800AW or FAV9800AW. To have any warranty parts replaced you will have to go thru an authorized repair service. Maytag customer service will supply info for a repair service.
This type of issue is very difficult to troubleshoot. A test you can do is put the machine in Service Mode and read the error codes from your machine. I would be looking for error code 15 for a “stuck key” error and error code 11 “Will not remember machine settings”. I would also try the Membrane Keyboard Check and see if you pass that test. I suspect a control board issue or possible corrosion issues at the Membrane Keyboard socket on the control board.
