well sondra, at this point im tempted to just give you mine after car toys and pioneer told me im a liar basically! but you should be able to take the faceplate into any major auto parts store like shucks - o'reillys and most of them have a "help" section where the have racks with all kinds of misc. universal thinga-mabobers, a new knob doesnt have to look exactly like the old one, just make sure its able to pivot still, stays on and has the same "half-moon" notch - K :-)
not positive but i would have to say you prob have a lose wire if all your fuses are good, make sure you checked all the fuses the box in the car and under the hood, Run through all the wireing and check sometimes you need to put your acc wire with your power so blue an yellow, blue is remote yellow is power if you need to hope you have some luck
No diagram available for 10yr old head...sorry:o( Other than that, it should be easy to hook it up, I'm sure there's no sub-outs etc. Should have 4 sets of speaker wires bundled together coming out of the back of the radio chassis. Yellow, is switched power...all the speaker wires have a stripe on one of each of the two wires, thats the "common" wire. White is ground for the chassis. Good Luck
If you are referring to the presets tuner station settings being deleted when powered off and or the clock resetting its time, then you have to verify that the Pioneer DEH-P580MP is wired as follows: Black - chassis/body ground/GND Yellow - always on/constant B+12 such as the + terminal of the battery; Red - switched on B+12 such as the ACC of the IGN switch.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
