Question about Creative Labs Zen Touch MP3 Player
Hi. My Zen Vision M is suddenly unable to be recognised by my computer, my laptop and my Xbox 360 Elite. Everything was working fine up until about 2 weeks ago. I have bought new USB cables, uninstalled and re-installed Windows Media Player 11, unistalled and re-installed the Zen software and still there it isn't recognised. When it is connected, it is charging but not recognised. I have been into system and is not recognised there either. I am using Windows XP. PLEASE help if you know how of any solutions. Thanks
How to make Creative vision m, find the computer.
Connect your creative with U. S. B. cable.
Go to my computer, click on right button on mouse go to properties, click on hardware tab, click on device manager button , scrawled to creative logo press on right button on mouse and press on update drives. This worked for me on both of my computers now I can charge my creative and transfer of the files to it with no problems.

I have the same problem. My Zen M Vision can`t sync with any PC with USB. But can charge with adapter. After searching on the internet. I have found the solution. Replace the USB Cable with a new one. And just like that my problem is solved. Thanks to http://www.anythingbutipod.com Forum.

If you can, the best test is to try your player with another PC, to see if you still have the problem. This localises whether the problem is with the PC (most likely the USB) or the player. See the link below (search on "connection problems") for a lot more troubleshooting on this.
go to my computer > click on hardware tab >
click on device manager button > in the is next screen on the bottom should have>>universal serial bus controllers
(write these down just in case it cant find them)
right click on them and uninstall, reboot let windows reinstall them
Also told Microsoft hotfix causes this problem try uninstalling the last hotfixIf that doesn't fix it try the USB cable
try downloading the MP3 player recovery tool from Creative's website (the tool contains the latest firmware update available -- 1.15.03). Plug your ZV+ into your PC, run the program and let it update the firmware. Then format, reload your music and try it.
