Question about Hoover F5892-900 SteamVac Upright Vacuum
Let me first say I just love my Hoover Steamvac. I recently noticed after a that it seems to be leaving lines on the carpet where it appears the cleaner is being placed on the carpet.
Does this sound like the part that releases the cleaner onto the carpet or possibly something else? Is there something I can do to try and resolve it or do I need to take it to a Hoover service dealer.
Is the cleaner sucking up the water like it should? If not , check that the filter on the inside of the lid has a 1/4 in. gap between the filter and the top of the lid. Either that or the water isn't completely being shut off when you release the trigger, in whcih case you would probably have to take it in for service.
