What program are you using? The answer may be different if you are using a Microsoft product, vs an Apple product, on your Mac.

Have you tried shutting down and restarting your Mac?

How to eject a disc from an apple iMac

A few ways of doing this

restart mac and press down the trackpad after you hear the startup noise

if that does not work try opening up disk utility and click on the icon of your disk under the left hand column then go up to eject button and click eject

or open up terminal found in the utilities folder within your applications folder and then type in
drutil tray eject and then press return

Finally what to do is try pick up your macbook tilt the macbook to the one side and press the eject key and hopefully the effect of gravity will allow the CD to fall out.

Hope this helps.

Why does Bing keep popping up when I want to get into my hotmail account and preventing access to my hotmail ?

Because Bing is too often implemented as an intrusive and annoying facility.
Many Bing-enabled webpages seem to be coded such that just mousing over any number of common words and phrases pops up unwanted and unneeded Bing boxes relating to those words and phrases, blocking what you are currently trying to read.
The people who design these pages apparently believe this is a wonderful and helpful new way for websites to work. I'm not one of them, and user experiences like yours are the reason for my opinion.
The solution is block the Bing website:
Step by step:
1) Open the IE options.
This can be done by using the Tools menu within IE and selecting “Internet Options”, by right-clicking on the IE icon on your desktop or Start menu and selecting “Internet Options”, or by launching “Internet Options” from inside the Windows Control Panel.
2) From the IE Options window, select the Security tab
3) From within the security tab, click on the “Restricted sites” icon and then click the [Sites] button right below it.
4) A list box window will pop up. In the “Add this website to the zone:” filed type in *.intellitxt.com then click the [Add] button.
5) Close Internet Explorer. The next time you open Internet Explorer the change takes place.

When I freeze a pane (at E6), the dropdown menus in column B no longer work.

HAHAHA I figured out how to freeze the left column successfully on excel for MACS.... So select the cell that is one column to the right and one cell below the column you want to freeze. So if you want to freeze the A column From row 1 - 35, select B36. Get it?? Took me forever, but i figured it out!!! I still have no clue how you could freeze a header row as well, but this is enough for me

Connecting Mac to new wireless router. Getting message: Safari cannot open page. Safari could not open the page "http://livepage.apple.com/" because the server is not responding. I'm not a normal...

Go to System preferences then under internet and network in the left hand column click on + sign at bottom of the column then under slect the interface choose airport click on create and then click on turn airport on and then select your network name and if a password is asked for put in the password.

If airport does not show up it probably means that your mac does not have a wireless card in it.

Hope this helps.

Zoomed moving display while mouse is moving

You have screen zoom turned on. If you have a mouse with a scroll wheel please hold down CTRL and move your mouse wheel down to return to original screen size.

If you need more help go into System Preferences> Keyboard and mouse> Mouse Tab and at the bottom it will tell you the settings for Zooming, if you don't need it I suggest you turn it off.

Hope that helps!
