See if that your folder options is not set to (do not show hidden files and folders .

Follow these steps to check it:
1. open control pannel.
2.Double click folder options then click view
3. then scroll and locate Hidden files and folders.

Oh lol this is easy. just go onto realplayer or something then go on the tab burn/transfer then it will tell u your songs delete them all. then try turning your mp3 on and going to "settings" then go all the way to the bottom of that page then click "reset all" then go back to windows media player and put your songs on.

Can't delete songs

Go to Windows Media Player under the Sync tab, over on the far left should be the name of the player, click on it and find the name of the song by album title, artist, or whatever, click on the title and click delete and you should be able to delete any song you like without deleting them all

Need to know how 2 delete song manually

You can manually view the files thru My Computer. My Computer>Device Name>Music folder. If you did not load the music onto your device thru this PC, or this version of Windows Media Player, you are not able to see it to manage it. Best of Luck.

Sandisk sansa m240 mp3 player

You can connect the device to your computer and manage it thru "My Computer. Open My Computer, then open the device (i.e. Sansa m240). Inside there is a Music folder, you can delete them from here. You can also drag songs here to transfer to the player. If you are not able to see the "music" folder, you may need to enable "Hidden Files and Folders" on your computer. Best of Luck.

The sansa has two USB modes. If you load tracks in one mode you have to be in the same mode to see them in explorer and also be able to delete them. Took me ages to figure this out. From the main menu, go to Settings then select USB and toggle between "MSC" and "Auto Detect". You should then be able to see the hidden tracks. I have firmware 2.2.5A installed so you might want to check that too.

I now only use the Sansa in MSC mode as it seems to crash Winamp if I use it in Autodetect.
