My laptop keeps flickering

First thing is to wiggle the lid and see if that affects it. If it does then the cable in the laptop that connects the bottom board to the display is bad. If it does not affect it, connect another monitor to the external connection to the laptop and see if it works. IF it does it might be the lights in the display that are going out or the power unit called the inverter that is in the lid

Is any displayport have in Intel D865GBF Motherboard

Yes

It has a VGA port for a VGA monitor. The port is BLUE in color, NOT PURPLE.

This is an example of a VGA Cable, and a VGA connector,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VGA_connector

Note the number of socket holes, and the arrangement of the socket holes.

There are 5 socket holes across the Top row.
There are 5 socket holes across the Middle row.
There are 5 socket holes across the Bottom row.

The Purple connector with 5 socket holes across the Top row, and 4 socket holes across the Bottom row, is NOT it.
Not the VGA connector.

You can connect a CRT type of monitor, (Looks like a small TV), or a flat LCD screen monitor, IF it has a VGA cable.

[ There is also an adapter that you can plug a flat LCD screen monitor into, and the other side of the adapter plugs into the VGA port, on the back of your computer.

This is if the flat LCD screen monitor has a DVI cable,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface

DVI to VGA adapter,

1) http://www.directron.com/dvitovga.html

2) http://www.directron.com/dviadapter.html

Look at the pins on the adapters. Now look at your monitor cable, and the VGA port on the computer. Make sure which adapter you need ]

Display Problem with Intel 845GVSR MB : My computer running on Intel 845GVSR MB with 2.4 GHz Intel Pentium 4 Processor and 768 MB RAM and 80 GB HDD . When I start the computer nothing appears on...

Reset the CMOS setup after putting the battery. You have 768MB RAM. So check with the alternate memory module with different slots. If not helpful, check the RAM with another PC. Lastly get the BIOS updated or motherboard repaired from component level motherboard repairer. You may have damaged the motherboard by putting undue pressure while plugging the connectors.

This is a common problem for everyone. You did the right thing by cleaning the RAM. Check the monitor and cable, test with another monitor if possible. Check with another video card as well. This will solve the problem.

MY COMPUTER DOESNT SHOWS ANY DISPLAY .I HAVE INTEL 845GVSR.I WANT TO KNOW HOW TO CHEK THA ITS RESISTORS ARE BUBBLED?IF THEY ARE. THEN HOW TO REPLACE THEM?

Its best to first check if the PC is passing its POST, if it beeps once them thats good, if not the MoBo is faulty, and it is probably easier to get a replacement, if it does pass POST then check your monitor and cables.

MOTHERBOARD DRIVER

Hi,
Well it is not the computer that has a problem... It's your monitor, it needs to be checked by a technician to fix those cold solders that causes the flickering on your screen.

Have it repaired then... Fixya me okay..
