I have the same APEX AVL3076. The picture will go blank. I turn it on and off several dozen times and then, sometimes, it will work again. Is there a solution to fix this or should I throw it out? Any help would be great!

I also have a problem with the tv turning off for no reason. Did anyone repair professionally and how much did it cost and did the repair last?

I have a AVL 2776 27 inch tv. When I turn the power on I get a split second of picture and then nothing. Is it the power supply? If it is the control panel as before mentioned where is this part located in the t.v.?

Any help would be great. Thanks

I am unable to turn the tv on in one go, though I always have sound. Is it worth getting it repaired?

Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

Do a reset to this TV, and then check. There are two methods to reset TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight is better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. TV loses power

Sounds like it maybe a heating up issue? Do you have it in an enclosed space with very little ventilation? These models don't like heat.

Compaq pressario whenI turn it on, monitor goes immediately to power saver mode and I can't get it to work

Sound like maybe video card has gone bad. You can get a cheapo video card at your local pc guys for around 20-30 bucks. If you install the card and hook up cable it will override the bad card (might be on motherboard) and should work

Did you change any of the 6.8 ohm 1watt resistors with the ICs? That chassis always blows at least two of the 6.8 ohm resistors often four of the 6.8 ohm. And you cant always tell by looking at the resistors , they have to have one side unsoderd and lifted from circuit. There are 11 of them 3149 - 3160 are the 6.8 ohm resistors that need to be checked.

Hp pavilion m7330n motherboard issue

The system in question requires motherboard model ms-7184 and can be found on ebay for less than $100.  If your repair guy used a different motherboard you will get the issues described and need to reinstall the OS.  It is impracticle to put any more than $200 in most desktop computers more than 2 years old, your repair guy should have advised you of this straight off.  Find a new person to take your equipment.
