Ice-maker problem i bought the fridge new gsl25jfpbs, but never used the ice-maker.. 3 years later i hook up water to it and problems... i turn the water on and the ice-maker makes one set of ice cubes, dumpeds them in the bucket and them refills the tray, BUT the wtaer doesn't turn off and floods onto the floor... if i turn the water off,, it makes ice-cubes again and truning the water back on will flood the fridge again..... seems like it makes ice, but there is nothing that turns off the water flow hen the tray is full ??? davey 8186455008

there is NO wire for the height of the icecubes... the ice-maker was turned off at the electrical switch on the ice-maker....
water pressure has been tried with city water at about 60psi and with an undersink filtered water supply.. which is alot less.. problem is still there either way...

Ok do you have a meter a volt meter ill tell you a better way to do it go to the back of the refrigerator and un plug the water valves then open the freezer door turn on the water if you hear the water running replace the valves if you don't replace the ice maker module the range for pressure is 30-120psi the valve just might be sticking from being dry for so long

My BI95 ice maker freezes and has water flow, the mould maker fills, the water continues to run into the bucket and it freezes solid. I changed the mould maker and water valve. The problem remains

If water keeps running after the fill cycle is usually indicates a bad fridge inlet valve. This valve controls the amount of water going into your icemaker. It is found where the water line goes into the fridge, usually in the back of the fridge at the bottom. You would need to cut the power to the fridge, turn off the water supply going into the fridge and remove a panel to get to it. You can check out online what a fridge water inlet valve looks like so you can identify it. It usually has 1-2 water lines going into it and 1-2 wire harnesses attached. You can buy new ones at a appliance parts store or online.

GE PSS25MGMA Crushed ice only, nothing else will select on panel.

Yes , replace the main board . Part number WR55X10656 . There is only partial communication between the main board and the dispensor board . This main board , is behind the 8 " X 10 " panel , on the back of the refrig . Do not replace the dispensor board . I have never come across a bad dispensor board yet . Always a first time though .

Ice maker not working, ice maker is on, water dispenser is working (supply working)

I have the same make and model. I had to replace the Motherboard. I bought it online $100 and it is really easy to replace. I heard from my neighbors who had the same fridge that they got the $100 refund from GE because it was a manufacturing defect.
