try to find the right one Epson cx7300 printer driver ,install it , i hope it will start working , if you have window-7 , try to go in printer through printer and devices , is it there the same printer?
If you have a router, you'll need to download or use your printer CD to install the driver software for your printer onto your laptop. If you need detailed instructions, please post the make/model of your printer and your operating system and whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit. These should be posted on the outside of your case or you can access in Windows by right-clicking My Computer (or just Computer) Then click Properties.
first no need to connect your printer with computer so Just run the setup from the given CD by the company and in most of cases during installation software request to connect printer with computer. if it asks for printer to connect then connect the printer with the USB cable. and then follow as software. it will work fine.
Printer have two connecting ports. 1 is for power and 2nd is for computer connection.
i am hopefull that u can understand well.
please dont forget to rate my answer cuz it is valueable for me.
you printer should still come on when power is plugged in. and once you conect your printer to the computer it should automatically install the drivers for it. you can also go to hp.com to find the drivers and software.
You prob had the printer plugged in and then installed the software,
To Fix: 1. Plug in and turn the printer on 2. Attach to Laptop 3. Hit esc if Windows asks to install new device (3-4x) 4. Uninstall the Printer Software from your Laptop 5. Disconnect Printer from Laptop 6. Reboot laptop 7. ReInstall Printer software from CDROM. ONLY when it is DONE installing software and TELLS you to, THEN connect the printer. Now it should work ;-)
Well i would recomend you to disconnect the printer from the system & then uninstall the software & then reinstall the software using the installation disks.. & in between the installation when it asks to connect the printer cable... then only connect the cable to the computer...
Hi m_andrews2, try this method. Do not use your CD that came with the printer. Go to this HP link; http://welcome.hp.com/country/us/en/welcome.html#Support Make sure the HP PSC 1315 printer is connected to the PC & powered on. In step 1, click your mouse in the empty circle next to "Download drivers and software (and firmware)". Than in step two click the button, "Start Detection". Allow HP to scan your system. HP will find your printer & start downloading the proper software & install it. Watch your screen you will have to give permission to HP. You shouldn't get an error message.
Good luck m_andrews2!
If for any reason you do just let me know.
