Re: forgot my password and lost cd that came with it
Plug it into your comp and iTunes will unlock it for you This support document also provides additional information on locking and unlocking the iPod. According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the iPod by doing the following: Connect your iPod to the primary computer you use it with (the first one iPod synced with), and open iTunes. When you disconnect iPod from the computer, it will no longer be locked. If you can't unlock iPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage its songs]. . . you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod. If you want to change the primary computer that your iPod is associated with, do this: 1. Restore your iPod. Warning: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data. 2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer. 3. Open iTunes and synchronize

There should be a 'backup' for your iPod on iTunes, it will take a little bit, but backup your iPod and then try resetting it, and applying the old backup. I don't know if the old password will still be on it or not though
try to restore to its factoy settings from itunes. just plug it to the computer, and once itunes recognize it you will be able to see it in itunes click on the ipod and it will show you the information just click restore, you will loose all your data but it should take off the password setting. hope this helps
If you cannot remember your pass code, you will unfortunately have to restore your iPhone which will wipe everything off the iPhone and restore it back to factory settings.
only positive side to this is that your music, video, contacts and
calendar settings will still be in tact but you may lose text messages
mail and so on.
* One more possibility: if you were able to
recently sync your iPhone with iTunes before you forgot your passcode,
when you perform a restore, iTunes will put all of the data of your
last sync in iTunes (before the passcode issue) back onto your iPhone.
* There is the only process which will allow you to regain access to your iPhone.
no good! maybe u can bypass it by wiring it up to a mac, making a software update or by formating the disk, if it is recognized by the mac... you may give it a try, else urgently see the shop where u bought it and ask for support!
you will need to restore it then.put it in DFU mode while connected to the computer. to do this, hold the home and power buttons for ten seconds and then let go of the power but keep on holding the home for 10 secs. the screen will be black and nothing will show up. go to itunes and restore it from there.
First, try to restore using iTunes. If this doesn't work, place your iPod in disk mode (hold the menu and center buttons down togther) and as soon as you see the Apple symbol come up hold the center and play (bottom) buttons down together until you see a check mark (disk mode). It may take a few trys.
Now connect your iPod to your computer. Go to my computer and right click the drive associate with your iPod (for example F: ) and scroll down to FORMAT. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT - CHOOSE FAT32 and then check the "Quick Format" box. After you do this then use iTunes to Restore your iPods another time.
