WHY IS THE GREEEN POWER BUTTON FLASHING ON MY MONITER AND THE SCREEN THEN GOWS BLACK

When the power light is flashing the monitor is not getting a stable signal. This is hard to answer without direct troubleshooting. Check the cables first, make sure they are connected securely. If you still have problems test another monitor you know works or move monitor to a computer you know works, this will determine if the monitor is the problem or not and tell you if it is your "graphics port or adapter". If another monitor works fine, use the working cables to test the "broken" monitor. If you have an "all-in-one" computer, ignore the above steps and use a start-up repair disk. The reason this is hard to troubleshoot is there are so many things to diagnose. More than likely your "graphics card" is failing. These are some tricks to repair. You can update the driver, buy a graphic card separate from the stock port.

What do I do about the discomfort in my eye? I can barely keep them open at times. I experience twitching at other times. I tried using the eye drops that was prescribed to me the last time this happened....

The constant use of computers are the cause of eye problems for many a person these days. I had twitching troubles a while back. It has to do with the manner in which we use it. It is not recommended to stare at the monitor constantly without any break. Take short breaks in between long sessions of staring at the monitor. Rest your eyes frequently. Get adequate sleep. All these are basic tips that any optometrist would tell you. Don't try to self medicate. If it is a problem that is recurring, then best consult with an eye clinic before it gets worse.

Make sure that the input on your monitor is on the correct selection.
Is this a dual monitor setup? If so unplug one of the monitors and restart the Mac.

The screen flashes on and off but the power seems stable

Failed power supply or backlight inverter board, need indepth troubleshooting.
If you are going to DIY and have proper tools and know safety precaution then please read on:
Most common failures in the LCD monitors are bad capacitors (bulging top/seal or leaking) in the power supply (they should be replaced in a set), blown fuses; poor solder joints, failed inverter circuits (blown fuse, shorted transistors, shorted/open transformers), bad lamps (poor solder connections or worn out lamps). You will need to open it up and inspect the inside, see example of failed SAMSUNG monitors to get some ideas what to look for: http://s807.photobucket.com/home/budm/allalbums
Post back what you see inside so we can guide you further and it will help out other people in the future also.

Hi there, i have a samsung t190 and it keeps twitching!

You can have intermittent open wires in the cable. Try new cable yet? Unless there are bad solder joints where the connector is. Or it can be something in the logic board.

Mag Innovation LT916s 900p LCD with a Horizontal twitch

That is capacitors problem, I would change all the caps in the 5v and 12v power supply section, you can have bad caps with high ESR. Also look at the caps on the logic board. I use hair dryer for troubleshooting to locate bad caps.

Screen flickers

The problem is that it is on the verge of going out my mother had a monitor go out and it did the same thing. Also if you have any high frequeny things around your monitor thatr also migh be the thing. Try a magnet or demagnitze the screen if you have one on it.
