I just bought and installed my first punching bag at home. I thought it would be good for releasing stress. Where do I begin? Is there a proper technique to using a punching bag?

The best advice I can give you is to take your time. It is very important to take some time to first develop proper body mechanics of punching before hitting away. Remember to stay focused on your balance, keep your wrists straight, protect your hands, and never push the punching bag.

RAS8333RQ3- Leaves clothes extremely wet after last spin cycle

I had a similar problem with my washer. You sound like the problem I had. The basin was off balance due to a belt breaking. So when it spins it was not getting the proper centripical force to drain the cloths. When I called to have it repaired it was pretty penny to replace. All we did was now when the spin is done we just reset it to spin and let it go again. Seems to be fine then. If you take the back off you can see what happens during the spin cycle and if and of the parts are in order. Hope it helps

Fan is wobbly

If you do not have the balance kit that came with the fan, then tape a penny or nickel to the top of the blade (out of sight) that lifts the highest. Try taping the penny close into the motor first to see how it works and if more is needed, then move the coin toward the edge of the blades.

Spa used once now wont heat up again

There is something wrong with your water balance and/or your sanitising chemical level.

Dump the water. Get the help of your pool supply place to help you balance the water. pH should be 7.4, Total Alkalinity should be in the range required by your sanitiser (80 to 100 or 100 to 120) and chlorine or bromine should be around 10 ppm CL or 20 ppm BR.

Sears Tape deck/Turn table skipping!

Hi the pennies will mess up the stylus. There should be an anti skate setting at the back of the turn table, a round adjustable bit with numbers, increase the anti skate and then use the balance weigth (weight right at the back of the arm that turns to get the weight right. Set the anti skate with the tone arm light, then increase the weight a bit. Hope that helps

Pitch problems

You would need to calibrate them to each other. Not very difficult, but not that easy either.

I would suggest taking it to a service center, and ask them to calibrate the turntables to each other. It's a matter of adjusting VR302, which is located underneath the turntable platter. You'll also need a frequency counter or similar - which aren't cheap.

Hi, I have recently purchased a pair of technics 1200 mk2 turntables. One works fine but the other skips, even though I have tried adjusting the height of the arm and adjusting balance etc, no combination...

there may be a weight missing on the arm , look at the other one to see the parts on that arm and make sure they are exactly the same nothing missing , otherwise there may be something wrong with the armitures guide
try tape on a penny then put it on top of the arm and see if it still skips

SL1210 MK5G PITCH REMOVAL ?

The fader for the M5G's are the same as for the MK5's. As for cleaning, you will have to do it like you did with the MK2, and go from underneath.

1210 mk5g tone arm pin stuck

Hey raz, i've just taken apart and put back together my turn table trying to cure the same problem. I DIDN'T NEED TO!!!!
number 1) i think the tone arm is a sealed unit so far as i can gather so if the spring is broken you need a new tone arm. however. Get a cotton swab, soak in malt vinegar and use this to gently push the faulty contact in. The idea behind this is to get vinegar around the contact shaft. This should dislodge the dirt and release the contact.
