Common problem when the MEMORY has a problem... If you have 2 memory on board, remove the other and try booting... then try the other one too... If both fails bring the CPU to a repair shop and try a new memory before you buy...
Clean also the connecting plates with a pencil eraser, then try again.

Please rate... I'm sure that helps..

Dell inspiron blue screen error with any hard drive?

Have you checked the cable from the drive to the board? If it is loose or if a wire has cracked inside the harness it can cause this failure.

Also check the drive power supply. There is a chance that the drive is not getting the correct and constant voltage to run. It has enough to get started, but the supply dies after a moment, then resets itself.

Blue ecreen error, system shuts down

Hi.

Blue screen means that an exception handling memory or a different computer resource has ocurred.

Blue screen error often occurrs when the sytem is corrupt.

Usually it is possible to fix the problem reinstalling Windows operative system.

Before reinstalling Windows you can try starting the system in safe mode (try F8 on startup). If system starts in safe mode, do a system restore to a recent date before having the problem.

Windows can be reinstalled using either factory recovery disk or a generic Windows setup disk in conjunction with a valid Microsoft licence number.

In case reinstalling Windows does not fix the problem, even if there are more hardware faults that can cause the problem, the first culprit is usually RAM memory.
Try reinstalling the system first.

Installing XP on HP m8120n

The Blue Screen of Death (also known as a stop error, BSOD, bluescreen, or Blue Screen of Doom) is an error screen displayed by some operating systems, most notably Microsoft Windows, after encountering a critical system error which can cause the system to shut down, to prevent damage.
Bluescreens on NT-based Windows systems can be caused by poorly written device drivers or malfunctioning hardware. In the Win9x era, incompatible DLLs or bugs in the kernel of the operating system could also cause bluescreens.
Bluescreens can also be caused by physical faults such as faulty memory, power supply issues, overheating of components, or hardware running beyond its specification limits. Bluescreens have been present in all Windows-based operating systems since Windows 3.1; earlier, OS/2 and MS-DOS suffered the Black Screen of Death, and early builds of Windows Vista displayed the Red Screen of Death after a boot loader error.

I hope it helps!!!

There are several problems for which blue screen can appear:
1) Memory problem,
2) Operating system problem,
3) Application problem etc.

Generally an error code is also displayed with the blue screen. You need to tell the error number to know more about your problem
