I can't install olympus d-630 on windows 7 - Olympus D-630 Zoom Digital Camera

According to Olympus the 10-year old model P-10 Digital Photo Printer only supports Windows 98/ME/2000/XP and specifically says that it will not function with Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit.
If you are running Windows 7 Professional, you can install XP Mode (free from Microsoft) and then install the P-10 within Windows XP to use it that way.

After you have Windows 7 Installed, you can surely plug in your camera into your Computer with no problem. Windows 7 should be able to detect the camera without any additional software.
this means you can transfer images into your computer using the built in windows 7 device manager which will pop up after you have plugged in your camera.

Never had a D-630, but the articles I read said yes, you can use a 2gb card.

Yes, Olympus has released a patch which insures there software is compatible with Windows 7. To find this patch, go to:

1. Choose your recorder type and select the support tab.
2. Select software downloads
3. Choose your Operating System
4. Download & install the software

The AC adapter recommended for use with the D-630 is the D-7AU (item# 200850). Use this adapter to conserve batteries when downloading to your computer, extended studio shoots, during printing, or while viewing images while connected to your TV or VCR. This can be purchased through authorized dealers or through the Olympus Emporium.

Yes, the CB-USB4 cable (item # 200776) is required to download images directly from the camera. Replacement cables can be purchased through the Olympus Emporium.
