This is a problem with your system software. Please follow these steps to fix it :
Step 1. Turn the PS3 off into standby (red light on)
Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep when you first press it, then beep again 5 seconds later and then beep once more and turn back off into standby(red light on) . Release the power button after it has switched itself back off.
Step 3. Again, press and hold the power button. It will beep when you first press it, then beep again 5 seconds later, then there will be 2 quick beeps together. Release the power button when you hear these 2 quick beeps.
Step 4. The PS3 will start up asking you to connect a controller via USB and press the PS button. Do this an then continue to the next step.
Step 5. A menu will load with 6 options. Choose option 3 "Restore File System". Accept whatever the PS3 says and hopefully it will restart as normal.
If option 3 does not work, do the above again and choose option 4, "Rebuild Database". If this does not work as a last resort select option 5, "Restore PS3 System". THIS WILL ERASE ALL DATA ON YOUR DRIVE!!
One of these options will bring your PS3 back to life.
Is the beeping a door or temp alarm? You can press power cool and power freeze buttons at the same time and you should get a single LED indication and then after 30 seconds the display should return to normal. NOTE the position of that single LED should you see it. 1) Self-Diagnostics in the initial Power ON 1-1)The control board performs a self diagnostics test within 1 second and check out the temperature sensors abilities. 1-2) If a sensor failure occurs, a corresponding LED segment will blink with a beep. 1-3) When a LED segment blinks, only the cancellation function (Press Power Freeze and Power Cool buttons simultaneously for 8 seconds) is acceptable. 1-4) After a replacement of bad sensor or a cancellation of this function, this self diagnostics will end. 2) Self-Diagnostics in the normal operation 2-1) To select this function, press Power Freeze and Power Cool buttons simultaneously for 8 seconds with an audible tone. 2-2) In the self diagnostic mode, only corresponding LED segments will be illuminated (see the check list on the next page) <NOT in this post Interpreting LED position = these errors below. You will need to pass on / reply with exact position of the LED that you see 1 ICE MAKER SENSOR 2 REFRIGERATOR SENSOR 3 REFRIGERATOR DEFROST SENSOR 4 REFRIGERATOR FAN ERROR 5 ICE MAKER function error 6 CoolSelectZoneTM SENSOR 7 REFRIGERATOR DEFROST ERROR 8 EXIT-SENSOR 9 FREEZER SENSOR 10 FREEZER DEFROST ERROR 11 FREEZER FAN ERROR 12 CONDENSER FAN ERROR 13 FREEZER DEFROST ERROR
2-3) After a 30 second illumination of error signal, the system will return to the normal operation.
I suspect a thermistor problem. The unit will self diagnose if you unplug it for 15 to 20 minutes and then plug it back in. ANY errors will be displayed by a single LED (digit) indication during the first 14 seconds after you plug in the unit.
You must wait that 15 - 20 minutes of unplugged time to prevent the compressor overload from tripping due to high coolant pressures. System must stabilize first to prevent damage to your unit.
For capturing the images using
Self Timer, press the Down Arrow control
button continuously to select the desired mode. You can set the timer for 10
seconds and 2 seconds by pressing the continuously, If we press the button
again the Self Timer will be turned off.
Press the Shutter button, the
self-timer lamp flashes and a beep sounds until the shutter operates. To cancel
the self-timer, press the down arrow
button again. You can redice the risk of blur by using the 2-second delay
Follow these steps to try and bring your hard drive back to life :-
Step 1. Turn the PS3 off into standby mode (red light on)
Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep as soon as you press it, then beep again 5 seconds later and then beep once more and turn off. When the console turns off please let go of the power button.
Step 3. Press and hold the power button again. It will beep when you first press it, then beep 5 seconds later, then there will be 2 quick beeps together. When you hear these 2 quick beeps let go of the power button.
Step 4. The PS3 will start up asking you to connect a PS3 connector via USB and press the PS button. Do this and then go onto the next step.
Step 5. A menu will then load. Choose option 3 "Restore File System". The PS3 will restart and may report that your hard drive is corrupt, ignore this and click on "OK" to continue. Let the PS3 do its thing and hopefully when it restarts all will be well again.
If this procedure does not work, follow steps 1-4 again but on step 5 choose option 4. If this does not work try again but with option 5.
If none of these procedures work then I am afraid it looks like your hard drive may have become faulty. This will mean you will have to purchase a new one.
Please try the following steps :
Step 1. Turn off the PS3 into standby mode (red light on)
Step 2. Press and hold the power button. It will beep as soon as you press it and then about 5 seconds later it will beep again. Let go of the power button when you hear the second beep.
Step 3. Wait for the PS3 to start up
What this does is reset your video output back to standard definition and you should be able to set up your video properly from within the settings menu.

The Polaroid Fun! Digital 320 camera is programmed to shut off automatically after a few minutes if it is not being used. This helps to conserve battery power. When the camera shuts itself off, it will make a continual beeping sound.
To use the camera after it has shut off, simply push the shutter button or self-timer button to take a picture. If you are not going to use your camera, turn the power switch to OFF.
The camera will also beep in rapid sequence after you press the self-timer button. The camera will continue to beep in faster sequence until a picture is taken (approximately 10 seconds). A final long beep signals that a picture has been taken.
NOTE: It is normal for the camera to beep while downloading photos to a computer.
