Sounds like needle valve on carb. float sticking ,initial settings for tecumseh eng. is main jet , or the one on the bottom of bowl is 1 and 1/2 turns out after gently seating it . the low speed jet on the side is 1 turn out after gently seating it. may also want to check fuel filter and check vent on fuel cap. hope this helps

I put a mixture of oil gas in my 621 R/621 toro snowblower?

Hi Jerome:
Shouldn't be too bad.
You could disconnect the fuel line at the carb and drain the tank.
Drain and flush the carb. Reconnect the fuel line and fill with fresh gas.
If it won't start, pull the spark plug and clean/dry it with a propane torch, or replace it.
Odds are it will be fine.
Cheers.

Snowblower will not start -plug has good spark--gas new -and getting to plug -have both back and intake pressure -oil level good new oil --flot and valves ok --all air lines connected ----yet no turn over...

If this engine turns over then try this. I am not sure if you mean starter won't turn or just won't start when turning over.
Take the fuel bowl off and clean it real good as well check the fuel jet and make sure it's not plugged. The jet in most engines is in the bolt you take off the bowl with. There should be fine holes in the bolt itself. I use my air compressor to clean mine.
If you want to try something first take the spark plug out and put a table spoon of gas in the spark plug hole and put the plug and wire back on. Try to start and if it fires up then stalls then you know its carb related.
Also if you have a fuel adjusting screw in the carb you can turn it out a little at a time to set the gas flow to the engine. Do this first before you take things apart.

My snowblower won't start

the carb is probably clogged up. Sounds like you are fairly handy... carefully remove it, keeping track of how it comes off so you can put it back on.

Soak it good in degreaser to disolve the gas deposits.
Then rinse it good with carb cleaner.
Then re-install it

I've had to do this to my line trimmer and my snowblower in recent years.

Briggs & Stratton 11 horse snowblower engine pulsating

this i what my pressure washer does... I would say its just getting aged and you shouldnt have to worry about it, but if you want to try to get it to stop then give it a good tune up. spark plug air filter and clean the carb out with a small wire or tourch tip cleaner to make sure all the passages are clean and clear... or just let it keep doing it like I do.

YardMachine snowblower 22" did start,

I would suggest that you replace or rebuild carb.if you decide too rebuild take carb off and take apart and soak it in mineral spirits andf blow it out with air.strip a bread tie and use the wire too clean out the passages in carb.put in new parts from rebuild kit and reinstall.if this does not work you will have to replace with new one.

I have a Craftsman 9hp 29inch blade snowblower that is basically brand new. It had sat for too long and the gas turned to varnish. I had to replace the fuel line and i rebuilt the carb and it still won't...

Hi timmmarquez, I have the same snowblower. That plug is for a light if you want to install one. Can you smell gas when you try to start it ? If you have spark you can iliminate the kill switch. Make sure you have a clean spark plug to (not a weak spark). Good Luck.

Mower wont start problem is with carb i think. need a manuel

need more info like is the engine spinning over and not cranking, if it spinns over check for spark at the spark plug, if you have spark you now have a fuel problem, if it doesnt spin over at all its probly in the battery or starter. to find out if its a fuel problem just spray carburator cleaner in

too the carburator it dont take much, then try cranking it and see if it runs if it does more then likely the carb needs to be taken off and cleaned, agaian not that hard of a job, just get the carb off and brake it down and spray carb cleaner in every hole in the carb,,,, good luck

Engine surges after warm

If your engine has an adjustment screw on the bottom of the carb. try adjusting that at high idle first also if you have a low idle screw. If that don't clear the surging than you might have to take the carb. off and clean it. If cleaning the carb. out dose not do it you may need to put a new carb. kit in. Any questions feel free to ask.
