Motorola HS810 I have a HS810 Bluetooth for my Nokia E62 and now, it will not come on when you open the boom and in addition, it will not connect to my phone. What can I do to fix this or is there a troubleshooting solution?

1. Press and hold the Multifunction button in the middle of a boom headset while the headset is closed. The light will glow blue.
2. Open the boom microphone and the blue light should remain on. If not, repeat step 1.
3. On the cell phone, press Menu > Settings > Connection > Bluetooth > Handsfree > New Device
4. Select HS810 once a connection is detected.
5. The passkey "0000" is now entered to confirm that the connection has been made.
6. The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".

On your phone, make sure bluetooth is turned on (settings, general).

While your phone is in discovery mode, turn your bluetooth device on and put it in discovery mode (usually you have to hold the power button for 7-10 seconds).

Your phone will find the device, and you will be prompted to enter the devises PIN number (often 0-0-0-0). Your phone should pair with the device then.

flib the mike boom to fold, press on the large center football shaped button until glows steady, then open the boom should stey stedy lit, scan for bluetooth with your divice it will receonize it!

Male sure before trying to find the bluetooth headset with your phone that the bluetooth headset is off. Hold down the power button until the led stays on. Then quickly use your phone to fetect the headset. If it will not detect the headset while the led is solid on, then it is not compatable with that phone! Good Luck and Thanks for using FixYa! Fold the mike boom to rear, push center football shaped button down for about 3 sec until it stays lit (not blinking) unfold the mike boom make sure it stays steady lit (no blinking) scan for bluetooth Walla!

4.Select H700 once a connection is detected.

6.The cell phone screen will now read "Bluetooth Connection".

Tips:
1.Provided you set the Bluetooth power to "On" after the initial connection has been made, the phone will automatically re-connect to the headset.
2.To set the Bluetooth power on - Press Menu, Select Settings, then Connections, then Bluetooth link, scroll to Setup and select that. Scroll to Power and chose Change. Scroll to On and press Select. The screen should now read "Changed: Power On".
3.Test Your Connection: Close the headset and watch for cell phone to say "Disconnected". Re-open the headset and the phone should be connected automatically and will now display "Bluetooth Connected".

here the steps, first you have to open your BT to pairing mode by close your boom and hold the button untill the indicator light show(not flashing), when u see the light DO NOT release the button, open your boom the you can release the button after that open your phone bluetooth then choose search for device there should be your BT(HS810) on the list then pair it.

i'm not good in english but i'll try. i used h-700 which i think they are same, you have to close your boom(BT) first and and hold the call button for few secs then open the boom while the light is show(still push the button) then release the button then you open your phone and open bluetooth menu choose search for device, your bluetooth should appear on the list.

this post is quite old but i think i'll answer it...first of all your phone must have bluetooth. to use it you must pair your phone with your bluetooth headset first. Open your bluetooth headset in pair mode and then open your phone bluetooth pair them and they will auto connect after you paired them(usually).
