Question about Canon PowerShot S2 IS Digital Camera
I CAN TAKE A PICTRE OUTSIDE OR INSIDE AND LINES ARE RUNNING ACROSS IT MAKE THE PICTURE NOT TAKE RIGHT .PLEASE HELP,I NEED IT TOMORROW.
Many compact digitals (of all brands) use a Sony sensor and Sony had a bad batch go through and the sensor's contacts are failing. If you are getting images corrupted with lines, bad/weird colour or severe noisy hash, you may well have a dud sensor. Check the canon web site for a list of effected cameras and/or contact Canon service.
Canon is replacing effected sensors free of charge regardless of warranty status.
